Job summary

Good Samaritan Medical Center in Palm Beach County, FL, seeks a qualified Registered Nurse for day shift, full-time. Eligible candidates receive a sign-on bonus up to $15,000, paid over 24 months, with a strong benefits package and opportunities for professional growth.

The role emphasizes assessment, planning, and coordination of care for patients in high-acuity units, with collaboration across cardiology and other departments. Florida RN license and CCU/ICU experience strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• Active Florida RN license.
• Current BLS certification.
• ACLS certification within 3 months of hire.
• At least 1 year of nursing in the critical care setting (ICU/ED/Trauma).
• Prefer 3 years of critical care experience.
• Prefer prior experience in procedural areas (Cath/IR/EP/Neuro).

Responsibilities

• Assesses physical, psychosocial, and growth and development needs of the patient.
• Develops a plan of care using assessment data and provides teaching to patient/family and staff.
• Implements nursing plan of care and documents patient activities, needs and assessments.
• Evaluates patient responses to nursing interventions/teaching.
• Demonstrates leadership, assists other departments, and is fiscally responsible.

Job Responsibilities

• Implements nursing plan of care on assigned patients and communicates and Documents patient activities, needs and assessments.
• Evaluates the patient's response to nursing interventions/teaching.
• Demonstrates leadership skills, assists other Cardiology departments and nursing units, and is fiscally responsible.

Job Qualifications

• Licensed Registered Nurse, State of Florida
• Current BLS certification
