Overview

Sentara is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Operating Room at Norfolk General Hospital in Norfolk, Virginia.

Sign-on Bonus: Up to $20,000 for qualified candidates.

Responsibilities

• Provide competent nursing care based on the nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Adhere to standards of practice and professional performance including ethics, communication, collaboration, and evidence-based practice.
• Possess clinical knowledge and skills relevant to the clinical area.

All direct care RNs are required to have BLS certification within 90 days of hire.

Qualifications

• RN Degree REQUIRED
• Virginia RN License REQUIRED
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification REQUIRED within 90 days of hire
• No experience required; prior RN experience PREFERRED
