The Operating Room at St. John’s Hospital provides a warm, inviting atmosphere and caring, personal staff. Schedule: This role is a 1.0 FTE position (80 hours per two‑week pay period), working 8‑hour evening shifts (shift times for 8‑hour shifts are 11:00 am – 7:30 pm or 2:45 pm to 11:15 pm). Weekend rotation and on‑call coverage are required. On‑call staff must be able to arrive within 30 minutes of the hospital; on‑site call rooms are available if needed.

The Registered Nurse is responsible for the assessment, planning, delivery, and evaluation of nursing care for all assigned patient population(s). The RN is responsible for performing these responsibilities in accordance with all policy, procedures, professional practice guidelines and the MN Nurse Practice Act. The RN coordinates care with members of the health care team and delegates responsibilities to others as appropriate.

The posted compensation range corresponds to the minimum and maximum pay rates outlined in the union agreement for the respective job classifications at the time of job posting. An individual’s pay rate within this range may be influenced by various factors, including FTE, skills, knowledge, educational background, and qualifying experience as specified in the contract. If your role is eligible for a sign‑on bonus, the bonus program that is approved and in place at the time of offer is what will be honored.
