The OR RN provides nursing care to our pediatric patients, performs assessments and interventions to keep patients safe during surgery, and assists the physician with the plan of care while ensuring continuity between the operating room and the patient care

Qualifications

• BSN degree required or in progress.
• Ohio RN license required.
• 2+ years OR experience required.

Job Description

Shriners Children’s Ohio has an opportunity for a full-time Operating Room RN. Join a team of professionals committed to improving children’s lives. Our top healthcare professionals excel in their practices and provide compassionate, family-centered care to children who need it most.

Key Responsibilities:

• The OR Registered Nurse provides nursing care to our pediatric patients within the operating room, performs assessments and interventions designed to keep the patients safe during surgery.
• Assists the physician in accomplishing the plan of care for the patient and to provide continuity between the patient care unit and the Operating Room.

Required Qualifications:

• BSN degree required or in progress
• Ohio RN license
• 2+ years OR experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• CNOR highly preferred
• Prior pediatric acute care, plastic reconstructive surgery and laser experience a plus

The pay range for this position is $42.80 - $64.20. Compensation is determined based on years of relevant experience and departmental equity.
