The OR RN plays a vital role in ensuring safe, high-quality care for patients before, during, and after surgery. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a passion for perioperative care, we’d love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare operating rooms for surgery, ensuring equipment and supplies are sterile and functional.

• Assist surgeons during procedures by passing instruments, monitoring patient vitals, and ensuring a sterile environment.

• Advocate for patients by assessing their condition, anticipating needs, and providing emotional support.

• Collaborate with surgical teams, anesthesiologists, and other nursing staff to maintain seamless communication and patient care.

• Maintain accurate documentation of procedures and nursing interventions.

Additional Job Description

Education:

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing

License and Certifications:

• Current South Carolina or compact state Registered Nurse license is required.

• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) with the American Heart Association (AHA) is required

• Certified Nurse Operating Room (CNOR) certification is preferred.
