Job summary

OSF HealthCare is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for inpatient and ED hospital care. The role involves coordinating care with multidisciplinary teams, supporting patients and families, and maintaining high standards of clinical documentation.

Candidates should hold RN licensure in IL or MI and acute-care RN experience. A BSN is preferred; knowledge of EMR systems and MS Office is expected at a basic level. This is an hourly, full-time position with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Active RN licensure in Illinois or Michigan is required.
• Current BLS Healthcare Provider certification is required.
• BSN preferred; experience as an RN in healthcare settings is expected.
• Basic proficiency with Electronic Medical Records and Microsoft Office.

Pay range for this position is $38.70 - $57.78/hour. Actual pay is based on years of licensure. This is an Hourly position.

Overview

POSITION SUMMARY: Protects, promotes and restores health and wellness by practicing at the highest level of the Registered Nurse licensure; collaborating with providers and multidisciplinary care team members to provide care coordination across the continuum. Assesses and supports physical symptoms, provides psychological support to patients, friends, and families, mentors assigned team members, promotes best practices, and maintains professional disposition at all times. The RN Hospital Inpatient/ED operates in units that provide 24/7 care in the hospital.

Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

License/Certifications: Current Registered Nurse licensure by the State Board of Nursing in appropriate state (Illinois or Michigan)

Current American Heart Association HealthCare Provider BLS is required prior to start date of employment.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: BSN

Experience: Experience as an RN in a healthcare environment

Other skills/knowledge: Electronic Medical Record and Microsoft application basic proficiency
