Advocate Condell Medical Center in Libertyville, IL is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for our Oncology-General Surgical unit. This full-time day shift role focuses on coordinating and delivering high-quality patient care within a 36-bed unit, with a team-led approach emphasizing safety, compassion, and effective care planning.

Qualified candidates will have an accredited nursing program completion, a valid RN license for Illinois, BLS certification, and chemotherapy administration

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited nursing program.
• RN license issued by the state in which you practice.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers certification.
• Chemotherapy Administration Certification within 1 year.
• 1 year nursing experience required.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
• Use evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and communication skills while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.

Join our 36-bed Oncology/ General Surgical Unit at Advocate Condell Medical Center, where you will find a supportive, collaborative and engaged team dedicated to patient safety and providing compassionate care to our patients. Our team consists of New Graduate RNs through 30+ years of experience and Nursing Assistants with varying experience.

We're Looking For:

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
• All RNs are required to obtain Chemotherapy Administration Certification within 1 year.
• 1 year nursing experience required

As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
