Advocate Condell Medical Center in Libertyville, IL is seeking a Registered Nurse for our Oncology/General Surgical Unit. This full-time day shift role requires a candidate who provides and coordinates comprehensive patient care with compassion and clinical expertise.

You will work within a supportive team, delivering safe, evidence-based care and leading efforts to ensure optimal patient safety and experience for diverse patients across the care continuum.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited nursing program.
• Registered Nurse license in the practicing state.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers (American Heart Association).
• Chemotherapy Administration Certification within 1 year.
• 1 year nursing experience.

Where You Will Work

Join our 36-bed Oncology/ General Surgical Unit at Advocate Condell Medical Center, where you will find a supportive, collaborative and engaged team dedicated to patient safety and providing compassionate care to our patients. Our team consists of New Graduate RNs through 30+ years of experience and Nursing Assistants with varying experience.

We’re Looking For

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
• All RNs are required to obtain Chemotherapy Administration Certification within 1 year.
• 1 year nursing experience required

As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.

Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
