Mercy South Oncology & Hematology in St. Louis, MO is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for outpatient care.
You will provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing to oncology patients, collaborate with physicians, and support assessments, treatments, education and follow‑up in an outpatient setting. You will work 40 hours/week, day shift, with opportunities to grow within a specialized oncology nursing team and participate in coordinated care across the clinic.
Overview
Provides professional nursing care to patients within the medical practice in support of, and as directed by, the physicians. Assists the physician in the treatment of patients and completes related clinical paperwork. The incumbent in this position shall carry out his or her responsibilities and integrate into his or her work ethic the Mercy Philosophy of caring for the sick and suffering, respect for human life and the dignity of each person, applying Christian values to all crucial human issues in the area over which he or she has responsibility.
