Job summary

Advocate Health in Milwaukee, WI is seeking an Infusion Registered Nurse for the Aurora Sinai Medical Center - Vince Lombardi Clinic. The role is 36 hours per week, Monday through Friday 8:30am–5:00pm, with every other Monday off. No weekends, holidays, or evenings, and full-time benefits are included.

Candidates must complete an accredited nursing program, hold a state RN license, and BLS certification. At least one year of RN experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association.
• Minimum of 1 year of RN experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process.
• Deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with standards, policies, and procedures.
• Use evidence-based practice and clinical decision-making to ensure patient safety and quality care.
• Work within a collaborative, patient-focused team to support the oncology clinic's care delivery.

Actual compensation offered in the Pay Range of $35.50-$53.25 and will be based on factors such as qualifications, skills, relevant experience and/or training.

About This Location:

The oncology clinic at Aurora Sinai Medical Center is part of the hospital's comprehensive cancer program located at 945 N. 12th St., Milwaukee, WI 53233. The medical center provides multidisciplinary cancer care, combining diagnosis, treatment, supportive services, and access to specialized physicians.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions

• Must be able to sit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, reach above shoulders, and twistfrequentlythroughout the workday.

• Must be able to lift and support the weight of 35 pounds in handling patients, medical equipment, and supplies.

• Must be able to: push/pull with 30 lbs. of force and perform a sliding transfer of 150 lbs. with a second person present.

• Must have functional speech, vision, hearing, and touch withabilityto use fine hand manipulation skills for IV insertion and other procedures/functions.

• Maneuver foot pedals on carts or machines.

• Perform physical safety interventions such as patient restraint and verbal de-escalation, if needed.

• May be exposed to chemical and hazardous waste as well as blood and body fluids and communicable disease. Therefore, protective clothing and equipment must bewornas necessary.

• Must be able to respond quickly to changes in patient and/or unit conditions.

• Physical Abilities Testing may berequired.

• Additionaldepartment specific physical requirements may beidentifiedfor unique responsibilities within the department by the nurse leader.
