Job summary

Kettering Home Care in Dayton, OH is seeking an experienced RN to provide after-hours skilled nursing in patients' homes. This salaried role runs Monday–Friday, 5pm–10pm, with on-call 10pm–8:30am, and requires driving to patient locations within the day-to-day schedule.

You will work autonomously under physician direction, maintain a designated home workspace, and perform duties per state scope. If after-hours demand is light, chart reviews or patient calls from home may occur.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with current license in the state of employment.
• Minimum one‑year experience as an RN in an acute care setting. Home care experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance in your name as a driver.
• Designated workspace at home to assist with chart reviews if there are minimal to no after-hours needs.
• Capable of all physical demands.

Responsibilities

• Support patients by responding to after-hours needs.
• Provide skilled nursing care in a patient’s home as directed by the attending physician.
• Work autonomously and manage time efficiently; perform duties within state scope of practice.
• If after-hours needs are minimal, assist with chart reviews or patient phone calls from home.

HOW YOU’LL WORK:
