Allergy & Asthma Affiliates in Morristown, TN seeks an Office Nurse to provide a wide range of clinical duties for patients of all ages, including infusion support for IVIG/SCIG therapy. This part-time position offers weekday hours with a family-oriented team and supportive environment.

You will greet patients, perform vitals and histories, prepare for procedures, perform basic labs, administer medications and immunizations, educate patients, manage referrals and documentation, and help maintain

Responsibilities

• Greets and creates a positive patient experience with each patient and their family.
• Conducts patients assessments including vitals and medical histories.
• Rooms and prepares patients for procedures while maintaining neat and clean clinical areas.
• Performs diagnostic procedures (skin testing, spirometry, etc.) and basic lab tests (CLIA waived).
• Administers diagnostic and therapeutic medications, injections, immunizations and SQ and IV infusions as directed by providers.
• Provides patient education, instruction and support regarding treatment plans.
• Coordinates patient referrals, lab orders, prior authorizations and pre-certifications.
• Triages clinical calls and calls in prescriptions.
• Enters, scans and updates clinical documentation (EMR) ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Maintains and stocks medical supply inventory and equipment.
• Performs all other duties as assigned.
