Overview

The newly opened 12-bed Med-Surg and Observation Unit provides comprehensive care for patients requiring short-term observation or acute medical/post-surgical care. This unit combines Med-Surg and observation services for efficient, high-quality care in a modern environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform care interventions, including medication administration, specimen collection, and treatments.
• Document patient care accurately.
• Monitor and communicate patient condition to the care team, physician, patient, and family.
• Assist with activities of daily living.
• Coordinate care across disciplines, including transfers, discharges, and referrals.
• Educate patients and families based on their needs.
• Advocate for patient well-being.
• Perform care in accordance with nursing standards and scope.

Qualifications and Requirements
