The Registered Nurse is responsible for delivering safe patient care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Provides direct patient care within the scope of practice, guides patient and family teaching, and oversees nursing personnel while maintaining standards of care. Must respond quickly and accurately to changes in patient condition or response to treatment. Ensures a safe environment for patients and visitors, and utilizes the chain of command when necessary to ensure appropriate care for newborns and mothers during antepartum and postpartum periods.
Education, Experience, and Training
The current compensation rate for this role is $59.83/hr. Exact starting salary will be determined at hire, considering skills, experience, education, credentials, and licensure. Benefits may vary based on collective bargaining agreements and employment status.
