Job summary

HCA Healthcare is seeking an RN for Methodist Hospital Landmark in San Antonio, TX. The role focuses on delivering safe, high-quality care with staffing support and advanced technology to aid clinical decisions.

You will assess patients, perform physician-ordered procedures, document care, administer medications, and maintain knowledge of cardiac and medical-surgical care. A Texas RN license and BLS are required, with license-qualification steps clearly defined.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Diploma/ASN/BSN).
• Minimum of six months clinical experience as a licensed Registered Nurse.
• Current Texas RN license or Multi-State Compact; TX license required within 60 days of hire.
• BLS/Basic Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.

Job Summary and Qualifications

What you will do in this role:

• Assess patient condition during admission and during each shift, identifying and reporting any changes in patient status.

• Perform procedures or other functions as ordered by the medical provider.

• Document the administration of care in the patient medical record in a timely and thorough manner.

• Perform the administration of prescribed medications and monitors response.

• Maintain a knowledge of medications, procedures, and equipment used in the care of cardiac and medical-surgical patients.

What qualifications you will need:

• Graduate of an accredited diploma, associates, or baccalaureate degree registered nursing program.

• Minimum of six (6) months of clinical experience as a licensed Registered Nurse

• Current Registered Nurse License in the State of Texas or Multi-State Compact License (Employees with RN Compact License are required to obtain Texas RN License within 60 days of hire date)

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
