Job summary

Cascadia Healthcare is seeking a Night Shift Registered Nurse (NOC RN) to join our team and provide compassionate, high-quality care to residents overnight. This role features a rotating schedule (6 on, 7 off) with an 1800–0630 shift, requiring strong clinical leadership and robust documentation.

What You'll Do
Provide Outstanding Resident Care
  • Deliver exceptional nursing care to residents in a skilled nursing and long-term care setting.
  • Monitor resident conditions and respond promptly to changes in health status.
  • Develop, implement, and update individualized care plans.
  • Communicate effectively with physicians, residents, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
  • Serve as a clinical leader and support nursing staff throughout the shift.
Manage Medications & Treatments
  • Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately.
  • Monitor and document resident responses to medications.
  • Identify and communicate adverse drug reactions and medication concerns.
  • Initiate enteral or parenteral therapies as ordered.
  • Maintain accurate narcotic records and medication documentation.
  • Coordinate pharmaceutical orders and ensure medication availability.
Ensure Accurate Documentation & Compliance
  • Complete assessments, physician orders, progress notes, flowsheets, care plans, and other required documentation.
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical records.
  • Follow all federal, state, and facility guidelines, policies, and nursing standards.
  • Protect resident rights and confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
Respond with Confidence
  • Assess and intervene during changes in resident condition.
  • Implement emergency measures when needed.
  • Direct and perform CPR and other critical interventions.
  • Use sound clinical judgment to make timely decisions that support resident safety and well-being.

Qualifications
Education

Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing. BSN preferred.

Licenses/Certification

Current RN Licensure in the State employed.

Valid CPR Certification.

Experience

Six months experience in a long-term care environment preferred.
