Job summary

Summit Oaks Hospital, Inc. is seeking a Full Time Registered Nurse (RN) located in Summit, New Jersey. This position operates three nights a week from 7pm - 7am, offering the potential for overtime. Candidates must have a current New Jersey RN licensure and at least one year of psychiatric nursing experience, or two years of medical/surgical experience.

The position includes a $12,000 sign-on bonus and competitive compensation complemented by extensive benefits such as health insurance, career development opportunities, and a 401(K) plan with company match.

This is a Full Time position from 7pm - 7am, 3 days a week, 36 hours a week. There is opportunity to cover various shifts and pick up overtime if interested. This position qualifies for a $12,000 Sign on Bonus.

Job Duties/Responsibilities

• Assess and respond to medical needs of patients under the guidance of the physicians.
• Conduct safety checks and implement appropriate behavioral management techniques.
• Monitor, report, and document patient behaviors and overall well being.
• Administer medications and perform treatments as needed under the guidance of treatment team.
• Maintain the core values and mission of Summit Oaks Hospital.

Qualifications

• Graduate of NLN accredited program preferred.
• ANA Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing certification preferred.
• CPR certification required.
