Registered Nurse (RN) – Behavioral Health – Night Shift – Full Time – 7p–7:30a – Sign On Bonus

Horizon Health is seeking highly organized and self‑motivated RNs for the night shift to work alongside a multidisciplinary team in our 20‑bed adult inpatient psychiatric program at Johnson Regional Medical Center, Clarksville, AR. This position is responsible for assessing, monitoring, recording and reporting symptoms or changes in patient conditions, maintaining accurate patient reports and medical histories, performing mental and physical assessments, administering medication and treatment, providing assistance with daily activities, observing reactions, and managing therapeutic activities including daily groups, education, one‑on‑one sessions, and collaboration with other team members to ensure the best possible care for patients.

Responsibilities
  • Complete initial nursing assessment within 24 hours of admission per facility policy and reassess routinely throughout the patient’s stay
  • Complete individualized treatment plans for each patient
  • Plan, implement and coordinate nursing care activities
  • Conduct therapies in accordance with diagnosis and needs
  • Perform treatment interventions following physician orders such as medication administration and medical treatment orders
  • Medication reconciliation
  • Follow voluntary and involuntary procedures/processes
  • Interpret the nursing and treatment needs of the patient to nonclinical staff assigned to the patient
  • Insure patient dignity and respect patient values by providing emotional and psychological support to patients, families and friends
  • Perform other duties as assigned or required by this position
