Job summary

Quail Run Behavioral Health Hospital in Phoenix is seeking a registered nurse to join our night shift team. This full-time RN position covers 36 hours weekly and includes full benefits and overtime opportunities.

The RN coordinates and evaluates patient care in collaboration with the health team according to nursing standards. Ideal candidates hold an Arizona nursing license, CPR/BLS, and a Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card (or obtain within 30 days).

Qualifications

• Arizona nursing license required.
• Current CPR or BLS certification.
• At least 1 year of psychiatric inpatient experience; geriatric unit experience preferred.
• Level 1 Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card or ability to obtain within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care during night shift (36 hours/week) in a psychiatric inpatient setting.
• Coordinate, document, and evaluate patient care with the health team.
• Respond to patient needs with prompt assessment and intervention.
• Support overtime coverage and flexible hours as needed.

This opportunity is full-time Night Shift position at 36 hours per week and offers full benefits. There is opportunity for overtime and to cover various shifts if interested. The RN is a registered professional nurse who prescribes, coordinates, and evaluates patient care through collaborative efforts with health team members in accordance with the nursing process and the standards of care and practices.

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

• Current license to practice nursing in Arizona.
• Current CPR or BLS certification.
• Preferred one year of experience working in a psychiatric inpatient setting with patients aged 12-65yrs+. **For our geriatric unit, 1 year of med/surge experience is strongly preferred.
• Level 1 Arizona Fingerprint Clearance card or be able to obtain within 30 days of hire.
