Job summary

MemorialCare Health System in Long Beach, CA is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) for the NICU on the Night shift. This full-time position offers 12-hour nights, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, and a pay range of $50.74 to $77.79 per hour.

External hires may receive a $20,000 signing bonus, and the role requires CA RN licensure, BLS, NRP, BSN (unless waived), and NICU experience.

Qualifications

Status:Full-time

Shift:Nights 1900-0730 (12hr shifts)

Pay Range*: $50.74/hr - $77.79/hr

Bonus: $20,000 signing bonus available to external hires new to MHS employment, contingent upon satisfaction of employment requirements.

Position Summary

The RN, Registered Nurse12-Hr provides safe, cost-effective patient care through the health experience, according to established standards utilizing the nursing process, within the scope of practice of Registered Nursing, for the Neonatal Intensive Care Unitat MemorialCare Long Beach Medical Center.

*Placement in the pay range is based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, relevant years of experience and qualifications. In addition to base pay, there may be additional compensation available for this role, including but not limited to, shift differentials, extra shift incentives, and bonus opportunities. Qualifications

Qualifications/Work Experience:

• The ideal candidate will have nursing experience in a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit in an acute care hospital.

Education/Licensure/Certification:

• A current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in California is required.
• A current American Heart Association Basic Life Support(CPR & AED)certification is also required.
• A current American Heart Association NRP certification
• A Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) is also required unless waived by Nurse Executive Council review.
• Graduated from an accredited nursing program unless otherwise approved by the Nursing Executive Council (NEC). Approved accrediting bodies include: ACEN and CCNE others must be approved by NEC
