St. Francis Medical Center in Los Angeles is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse to deliver safe patient care in the NICU. You will use the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate care for neonates, guiding families and supervising other nurses as needed.
To qualify, maintain an active RN license, BLS and NRP within 30 days of hire, and ideally one year of acute care with NICU experience; BSN is preferred. The role offers days shifts and a comprehensive benefits package.

Registered Nurse is responsible for the delivery of safe patient care utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation. The Registered Nurse also directs and guides patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel while maintaining standards of professional nursing. Is able to respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition and/or response to treatment. Provides for a safe environment for patients and visitors. Utilizes the chain of command when necessary to ensure patient well-being and appropriateness of care to neonates from post delivery stabilization through discharge.

The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
