Abrazo Arrowhead Campus in Glendale, AZ is seeking a NICU Registered Nurse for our Level III NICU. The role provides specialized care to neonates, coordinating care with a multidisciplinary team and delivering direct bedside nursing using the nursing process to support optimal outcomes.

The RN will lead care planning, collaborate with physicians and therapists, participate in hourly rounds and mentor other staff, with a focus on compassionate care and professional growth within a supportive

Qualifications

• Minimum: 1 year of hospital-based acute care RN experience in a NICU.
• Current RN license in the State of Arizona (or compact license).
• CPR
• NRP (required upon orientation completion)
• ACLS as applicable by facility/department

• Provide safe, evidence-based care to critically ill infants.
• Act as a clinical leader by assessing, planning, delegating, and using independent judgment to direct other healthcare team members.
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other disciplines to ensure coordinated patient care.

• Supervise and mentor other members of the healthcare team.

Job Summary

Job Type: Full Time
Shift: Nights (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM)

The NICU Registered Nurse provides professional, compassionate nursing care to neonates within our Level III NICU. This role coordinates care planning with the multidisciplinary team and renders individualized, age-specific, and direct bedside nursing care based on the nursing process and patient needs. The RN systematically evaluates the quality and effectiveness of nursing practice to support optimal patient outcomes.

• Act as a clinical leader by assessing, planning, delegating, and using independent judgment to direct other healthcare team members.
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other disciplines to ensure coordinated patient care.

• Minimum Requirements
  • Experience: At least 1 year of current hospital-based acute care RN experience in a NICU.
  • Education: Nursing degree from an accredited nursing school.
  • Certifications

• Preferred Requirements
  • Experience: At least 1 year of Level III NICU experience, including care of infants requiring conventional ventilators, HFOV, central lines, and therapeutic hypothermia.
  • Education: BSN
  • Certifications: Specialty certification a plus.
