Job summary

Select Specialty Hospital in Midtown Atlanta is hiring a new graduate RN for a full-time night shift (7 p.m.–7:30 a.m.). The position offers a $10,000 sign-on bonus and strong professional development through a 10–13 week orientation with a dedicated preceptor.

Compensation is $44.58 per hour with comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision, PTO, a company-sponsored 401(k), and ongoing education support. Applicants must have an RN license and be ready to start upon licensure.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited nursing program.
• Valid State RN License required.
• BLS required at hire.

Responsibilities

• In collaboration with the physician and preceptor, implement assessment plans and follow-up care.
• Perform ongoing systematic assessment of physical, emotional, social, educational and functional needs of patients/families.
• Develop nursing care plans with problems, diagnoses, goals and discharge planning.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team activities to assess and achieve rehabilitation goals.
• Ensure medical records Documentation is complete, accurate and timely.

• In collaboration with the physician and their preceptor, you will assure implementation of the assessment plan, evaluation, and follow-up of the plan of care for the patient population.
• Initiating an ongoing systematic assessment of the physical, emotional, social, educational and functional needs of the patients/families.
• Interpreting assessment data and information to develop a nursing care plan which contains problem identification, nursing diagnosis, nursing orders, approaches, interventions, short/long term goals and discharge planning.
• Participating as a productive member of the interdisciplinary team in assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of rehabilitation goals.
• Assuring that documents in the medical record are complete, factual, accurate and timely.

Minimum Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited program for registered nursing.
• Valid State RN License required.
• BLS required at hire.
