Job summary

Advocate Health in Lexington, NC, is seeking an RN for a Medical-Surgical & Telemetry unit (Unit A). The role focuses on providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care with telemetry monitoring and collaboration across the care team.

You will practice evidence-based nursing, make clinical decisions, and uphold patient safety and satisfaction across the care continuum, contributing to an engaging, growth-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited nursing program.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state of North Carolina.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Less than 1 year of RN experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care using the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care per established standards, policies, and procedures.
• Lead and contribute to evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, and compassionate communication to ensure the safest patient environment and best patient experience across the continuum.

Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist – Lexington Medical Surgical & Telemetry (Unit A)

Unit A is a 45-bed Medical-Surgical and Telemetry unit providing comprehensive care for adult patients with diverse medical and surgical needs, including those requiring continuous cardiac monitoring.

Our team fosters a collaborative, supportive culture grounded in patient safety, evidence-based practice, and compassionate care. What sets Unit A apart is our commitment to professional growth and teamwork, paired with advanced telemetry capabilities to effectively manage complex conditions.

We’re Looking For:

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing

• Registered Nurse license issued by the state of North Carolina

• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association

• Less than 1 year of RN experience

What You’ll Do:

• As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.

• Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
