Job summary

Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist in Lexington, NC is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse for Unit A, a 45-bed Medical‑Surgical and Telemetry unit providing comprehensive care with continuous cardiac monitoring.

You’ll coordinate patient care using the nursing process, applying evidence‑based practices and compassionate communication to create a safe environment and an excellent patient experience. A sign‑on bonus is available for eligible applicants.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state of North Carolina.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association.
• More than 1 year of RN experience.

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in line with established standards, policies, and procedures.
• Use evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and effective communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and best patient experience across the continuum.

Unit A is a 45-bed Medical-Surgical and Telemetry unit providing comprehensive care for adult patients with diverse medical and surgical needs, including those requiring continuous cardiac monitoring. Our team fosters a collaborative, supportive culture grounded in patient safety, evidence-based practice, and compassionate care. We’re Looking For

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state of North Carolina
