Job summary

Zohorecruit is seeking Registered Nurse (RN) for a New Grad Psych Residency Program in the USA, Indiana area. The role involves clinical care in Med-Surg or Behavioral Health units, with shifts across 12-hour schedules and a permanent full-time status.

New grads welcome; positions also available for experienced RNs. A sign-on bonus of $12,000 USD and relocation up to $2,500 plus one month housing are offered. Immigration sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred or will complete within 3 years of employment.
• NCLEX-RN required.
• Current Canadian passport with a minimum of 6 months remaining.

Responsibilities

• Plans and provides high quality nursing care to patients.
• Administer medications, provide and render treatment to patients.
• Communicate with physicians, LPNs, radiologists and other medical professionals.
• Collaborate with physicians to create a Plan of Care for each patient.
• Create and contribute to patients’ medical records as needed.

Registered Nurse (RN) Psych New Grad Residency Program USA Positions for experienced RNs also available

$12000 US sign on bonus

Up to $2500 relocation

Registered Nurse (RN) responsibilities

• Plans and provides high quality nursing care to patients
• Administer medications, provide and render treatment to patients
• Communicate with physicians, LPNs, radiologists and other medical professionals
• Collaborate with physicians to create a Plan of Care for each patient
• Consider the age of the patient and his or her emotional stability when determining appropriate treatment
• Create and contribute to patients’ medical records as needed
• Respond to inquiries, concerns and complaints from patients and their families
• Counsel patients and family members before, during and after treatment

Requirements

Registered Nurse (RN) skills

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred or will complete within 3 years of employment
• NCLEX-RN

Current VisaScreen for non-US applicants (Application in progress required prior to hospital interview.)

• Valid nursing Indiana RN licence or eligible for

BLS

• Advanced knowledge of EMRs

• Willingness to work a flexible schedule and to fill in when needed

• Excellent bedside manner and communication skills

• Ability to explain treatments and conditions to children of all ages

• Working knowledge of health care laws and regulations
