Job summary

Rainbow Babies & Children's Hospitals UHC in Cleveland, OH is seeking a nurse with less than one year of experience to provide safe, age-specific nursing care to patients and families using the nursing process.

The role requires an RN license in Ohio or Multi-State Compact, BSN or MN, and current BLS; ACLS/PALS may be required by unit. We welcome RN students graduating December 2026 or earlier.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in Ohio or Multi-State Compact (Required Upon Hire).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) (Required Upon Hire).
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) may be required based on unit standards.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) may be required based on unit standards.

Preference is strongly given to candidates with previous experience in an OB/Peds/Critical Care practicum, internship, or unlicensed patient care support role.

A Brief Overview

Provides safe efficient age specific nursing care to patients/families using the nursing process in order to assist them to attain, maintain, regain, and sustain optimal health status.
