Floyd Medical Center is offering a Nurse Residency Program designed for registered nurses with less than six months of experience. The program combines education sessions with hands-on clinical work to build foundational clinical and leadership skills in a hospital setting.

Participants will engage in classroom and simulation learning, guided by a mentor who provides ongoing support, feedback, and career development planning to help launch a successful nursing career.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Current Georgia RN license or eligibility and BCLS certification.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Registered nurses with less than six months experience will find more than a job at Floyd. Our 6-months Nurse Residency Program offers education and hands-on work experience that help participants acquire clinical and leadership skills. Each nurse resident will take part in education sessions that may include classroom, simulation or other types of learning. A mentor will offer guidance during the journey.
