Job summary

Advocate Health in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Registered Nurse for the 9T Neurosurgical Telemetry unit. The RN will provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care using the nursing process, deliver safe, evidence-based care, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support spine surgery patients.

Requirements include completion of an accredited nursing program, an active RN license in the state, BLS certification, and at least six months of RN experience.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program.
• At least 6 months RN experience; not suitable for new grads.
• RN license issued by the state in which the teammate practices.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
• Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.

Registered Nurse (RN) – 9T Neurosurgical Telemetry

Charlotte, NC, United States

A sign-on bonus is available to applicants who have not received a sign-on bonus from the company for another role within the past 24 months.

Where You Will Work:

9T Neurosurgical Telemetry is Advance Spine Certified by the Joint Commission, offering the latest, innovative care for the Spine patients. World class ranked Spine surgeons, rated the best in the Country. 36 bed unit 14 beds telemetry monitoring capabilities. Post-operative spinal surgery Low/Moderate/High Pathway, Bundle Spinal surgery for: Lumbar disc disease Spondylolisthesis Spinal deformity Spine tumors or trauma Surgical drains (JP, Hemovac) PCAs Progressive Mobility. Patients with Airway management via tracheostomy tube; on a trach collar, requiring no more than Q2H suctioning Intermittent BIPAP or CPAP HFNC.

We’re Looking For:

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
• Candidates must have at least 6 months of RN experience, this position is not for new grads
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
