Job summary

Saint Alphonsus Health System in Boise, Idaho is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our Neuro Step Down Unit at the Level II Trauma Center. You will care for high-acuity neuro patients in a 17-bed unit and work with a dedicated trauma and stroke team.

This night-shift role offers a sign-on bonus and relocation assistance. Idaho residency within 6 months is expected where applicable, with a focus on professional growth and patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Idaho or multistate RN license required; residency in Idaho within 6 months if applicable.
• BLS certification; ACLS and PALS required within designated timelines.
• Experience in high-acuity neuro/step-down care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care for neuro/step-down patients in a 17-bed unit.
• Monitor, assess, and stabilize patients with traumatic brain injuries, strokes, and related conditions.
• Collaborate with a Level II trauma center and stroke team to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Deliver evidence-based care in a state-of-the-art unit with advanced equipment.

This position will be located at our Regional Medical Center off I-184 and Curtis Rd.

What to expect:

• Utilizing your skills in a Level II Trauma Center and a Level I Comprehensive Stroke Center
• Providing next level care for neurological patients in a state-of-the-art unit with the newest and most advanced technology and equipment
• Caring for post operative patients along with patients with traumatic brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, seizures, strokes, and other neurological disorders
• Delivering high-quality nursing care in our 17-bed SDU, utilizing advanced clinical skills to assess, stabilize, and monitor patients
