Job summary

Saint Alphonsus Health System in Boise, Idaho seeks a Registered Nurse to join the Heart and Vascular Step-Down unit at our Level II Trauma Center. The role supports patients transitioning from the CVICU with hands-on procedures, education, and collaborative care planning.

This full-time night shift (12-hour) offers incentives including sign-on bonus and relocation assistance, within a renowned health system recognized for excellence.

Qualifications

  • Idaho or multistate RN license (must establish Idaho residency within 6 months if applicable).
  • BLS certification; ACLS and PALS required within designated timelines.

Responsibilities

  • Provide cardiovascular care for patients transitioning from CVICU to Heart & Vascular Step-Down.
  • Administer medications and perform procedures per care plan.
  • Collaborate with CVICU and Heart & Vascular teams on individualized care plans.
  • Educate patients and families about wellness and post-discharge care.
  • Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately.
  • Maintain a patient-centered, team-focused unit environment.

This position will be located at our Regional Medical Center off I-184 and Curtis Rd.
