About the Role: Job Summary

Neuro IMC is a 16-bed Intermediate Care nursing unit. Neuro IMC serves as a dedicated stroke nursing unit. As a Neuro IMC unit, care is rendered to a variety of intermediate care neuro patients including but not limited to: High acuity ischemic and hemorrhagic stroke patients, Patients receiving IV thrombolytic for acute ischemic stroke, Patients requiring continuous EEG monitoring, Patients with other neurological disorders such as Guillain-Barre’ Syndrome, Myasthenia Gravis, and ALS, Patients with hemodynamic instability needing antiarrhythmic and/or vasopressor medications.

Minimum Job Qualifications
  • Licensure or other certifications: Licensed to practice as an RN in Georgia.
  • Educational Requirements: Associate's Degree. ADN or Diploma required.
  • Minimum Experience: 0-1 year of RN experience – successful completion of new grad orientation or successful completion of an RN refresher course for acute care nurses
