Job description

We are seeking a full-time RN for our Medical Surgical Intensive Care Unit at Inova Alexandria Hospital. This position involves a full-time night shift (3 x 12-hour shifts) from 7pm to 7am.

Preferred candidates will have 2+ years of ICU experience.

Sign-on Bonus and Relocation Bonus are available.

This environment is highly collaborative and engaged, with excellent leadership. The MSICU is a 20-bed unit with a 2:1 patient nurse ratio. Patient conditions include cardiopulmonary failure, adult respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS), sepsis, multi-organ dysfunction, pulmonary hypertension, pulmonary thrombosis, shock syndromes, renal failure, complex medical conditions, co-morbidities, and post-operative complicated surgical cases.

MSICU RN Requirements:

• Experience: Minimum of one year of ICU RN experience.
• Education: BSN from an accredited nursing school. If holding an ADN, must complete BSN within 5 years of start date.
• Licensure: RN licensed or eligible to practice in Virginia.
• Certifications: BLS certification required; ACLS preferred or within 90 days.
