Job summary

Advocate Health’s Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge, IL seeks an RN for a 36-bed Medical Telemetry unit. You will provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care using nursing processes to deliver safe, evidence-based care consistent with standards, policies, and procedures.

Qualified candidates have completed an accredited nursing program, hold an Illinois RN license, and possess BLS certification; telemetry certification is preferred and must be obtained by orientation end.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association.
• Telemetry certification is preferred at time of hire but not required. Telemetry certification and competency support during orientation. Telemetry certification required by end of orientation.

Where You Will Work

36 bed Medical Telemetry unit that cares for patients that require medical telemetry care such as adults with a wide range of diagnoses. Teamwork, high emphasis on patients being ready to go home by receiving high quality care. Communication, hard-working, multi-tasking, engagement. Collaboration

We’re Looking For
