Job summary

Christiana Care - Wilmington Hospital in DE is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for the 4W Medical Surgical Unit. The role entails night shift coverage from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM with a 20% Night Shift Differential and a 44-hour bi-weekly schedule, including weekends and holidays as per department guidelines.

The unit supports a diverse patient population with general surgery, orthopedics, plastics, bariatric surgery, trauma, and telemetry patients, offering opportunities to expand

Qualifications

• RN licensure or eligibility for licensure in Delaware.
• BSN required or commitment to obtaining a BSN within three years of hire date.
• One year of nursing experience in an acute care setting is required.
• BLS Certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered nursing care on the 4W Medical Surgical Unit.
• Monitor telemetry and respond to patient needs in a fast-paced environment.

The Unit4 West patient population includes a wide range of specialties such as general surgery, orthopedics, plastics, bariatric surgery, trauma, and medical patients requiring telemetry monitoring. Due to the diverse patient population and variety of specialties, there are many opportunities for nurses to learn new skills, expand clinical knowledge, and gain valuable experience in a fast-paced environment. Hourly Pay Range: $41.28 - $66.05

This pay rate/range represents ChristianaCare's good faith and reasonable estimate of compensation at the time of posting.
