Job Overview: The highly skilled care team at Trinitas Regional Medical Center supports a 38-bed Medical Surgical Unit with a broad range of patient care needs, often supporting higher-acuity patients. This unit features 6 single-bedded rooms and accommodates up to 38 patients. We seek a team member passionate about Medical Surgical nursing or eager to grow in a diverse and dynamic patient environment. Our nurses are vital to patient care, providing emotional and clinical support to patients and families.

Scheduling Requirements:

• Night Shift, 36 hours/week
• Monday to Friday, with every other weekend and holiday rotation

Qualifications:

• Active New Jersey RN License or approved RN license
• ASN or BSN required
• AHA BLS certification required before start date
• Preferred experience in Oncology, Med Surg, Telemetry, or acute nursing
• Desired certifications: specialty and/or national nursing certifications

Essential Functions: The RN provides individualized, age-specific professional care within the hospital unit, supporting medical care, hospital philosophy, objectives, and mission. Practices according to the State Nurse Practice Act, ANA Standards, Code of Ethics, and regulatory requirements. Participates in patient education, discharge planning, and performance improvement activities.
