Job summary

Aurora Medical Center – Bay Area, Inc. is seeking a Registered Nurse for our 47-bed Medical-Surgical unit. You will care for a diverse patient population and work with Advocate Aurora Physicians to provide high-quality, compassionate care.

The ideal candidate will have completed an accredited nursing program, hold a state RN license, and obtain BLS. Telemetry and ACLS are required within 6 months of hire. Sign-on bonus may be available for eligible applicants.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices (state license).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification.
• Telemetry and ACLS are required within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care.

We’re Looking For:

As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures. Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
