Job Overview

The RN provides direct patient care to patients using the nursing process in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice.

Position Details

• Type: Full Time
• Location: Remote (based in Kentucky or holding a multistate license)
• Reports to: Clinical Nurse Supervisor
• FLSA: Non-exempt
• Education: Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree preferred
• License: Current RN license in Kentucky or multistate license
• Certifications: BCLS

Key Responsibilities

1. Perform care interventions including medication administration, specimen collection, and clinical treatments.
2. Document patient care accurately.
3. Monitor, record, and communicate patient conditions to the care team, physicians, patients, and families.
4. Assist patients with activities of daily living.
5. Coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams, including transfers, discharges, and referrals.
6. Provide patient and family education tailored to their age, culture, and condition.
7. Advocate for the patient's physical and emotional well-being.
