The Medical/Surgical Unit is a 36-bed, patient-centered inpatient unit within a small community hospital, caring for adult patients with a wide range of acute and chronic medical conditions. Nurses on this unit provide comprehensive care for patients recovering from illness, surgery, infection, exacerbation of chronic disease, and other general medical needs. The unit also offers Virtual Critical Care support for IMC-level patients, helping nurses deliver safe, well-supported care for patients with higher acuity needs. With dedicated charge nurses, a visible, available, and approachable management team, and a strong team-oriented culture, this role offers the opportunity to work in a supportive environment where collaboration, mutual respect, and shared commitment to excellent patient care are part of everyday practice.
