The Joint Replacement Unit is a 14-bed specialty inpatient unit within a small community hospital focused on the care of adult patients recovering from orthopedic and neurosurgical procedures. This unit admits patients undergoing knee replacements, hip replacements, total shoulder replacements, and neurosurgery spinal surgeries. Nurses on this unit provide skilled postoperative care, pain management, mobility support, patient education, and discharge preparation to help patients safely recover and regain independence. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with surgeons, therapists, providers, and an interdisciplinary team in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment dedicated to excellent surgical outcomes and patient-centered care.
