Job summary

Redlands Community Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our team in Redlands, California. The RN will perform professional nursing duties in line with the scope of practice and standards, and may lead when acting as charge nurse.

The role requires current California RN licensure and BLS.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN program.
• Experience and/or training in leadership preferred when acting as charge nurse.
• Current license as a Registered Nurse in California.
• Current BLS (American Heart Association) certification.
• ACLS required within 3 months of hire (6 months for new grads).
• Passing of basic arrhythmia recognition exam within 3 months (6 months for new grads).
• Minimum of one year experience.

Job description

Hourly pay range: $48.51 min. - $76.93 max.

Reporting to the Director, the staff RN performs professional role functions in accordance with scope of practice and professional standards, including demonstrating the knowledge and ability to use and/or lead the scope of practice, professional standards and accreditation / regulatory standards, scope of practice for LVN and all other nursing personnel e.g. unlicensed assistive personnel. The RN demonstrates the ability to assess their own professional role performance, current knowledge of theory and principles related to discipline specific practice, and the ability to use a population-based approach to determine patient needs.

Education/Training/ Experience

• Graduate of an accredited Registered Nurse (RN) program required.
• Experience and/or training in leadership preferred, if acting as charge nurse.

Certifications/Licenses

• Current license as a Registered Nurse in the State of California.
• Current BLS (American Heart Association) certification required.
• Current ACLS (American Heart Association) required within 3 months of hire (ACLS required within 6 months for new grad RNs). (Grandfathered: existing employees must complete new requirements by 11/1/2026)
• Successful passing of RCH basic arrhythmia recognition exam required within 3 months, (6 months for new grad RN and new specialty). Grandfathered: existing employees must complete new requirements by 11/1/2026
