Job summary

Mercy, a trusted healthcare provider, seeks a part-time Registered Nurse to join the General Surgery 3W team at Mercy Hospital South in St. Louis. A current RN license (state or compact) and BLS are required, with a minimum of 2 years of patient care experience.

Supervisor experience and a BSN are preferred. You will apply the nursing process, coordinate with other departments, safeguard patient rights, and uphold Mercy service standards while contributing to patient-centered care and team

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• RN license in the hiring state and/or compact licensure.
• Must meet state boards of nursing requirements.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire.
• Minimum of 2 years of patient care experience; BSN and supervision experience preferred.

Location: Mercy Hospital South - 10010 Kennerly Rd, St. Louis, Missouri 63128

Schedule:Part time | 24 hours/week

Shift: Days 7a-7p

Qualifications

Education

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.

Licensure

• Responsible for obtaining and maintaining a current RN license in the hiring state and/or compact licensure where nursing duties are performed.

• Must meet all state board of nursing requirements.

Certification

• Required: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association or completion within 30 days of hire.

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of patient care experience required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Supervisor experience preferred.

• Bachelor's degree in nursing.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 50 lbs regularly.

• Prolonged standing and walking during shifts.

• Ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties.
