Advocate Health in Summit, Wisconsin is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse for the Med/Surg 2/Ortho-Trauma unit. The role emphasizes high-quality patient care, collaborative teamwork, and adherence to unit standards.

Day shifts are available on a 0.6 FTE schedule with alternating weekends and holidays. You will join a supportive team dedicated to safety, learning, and compassionate care, providing post-operative and trauma-focused nursing across the continuum.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.

Where You Will Work:

Join our med/surg 2 unit where will care for a variety of medical and post-operative care patients with an emphasis on post-op ortho patients and trauma care patients. MS2 ortho/trauma offers a collaborative and supportive team setting and exceptional learning environment for both newly licensed and experienced RNs.

We’re Looking For:

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association

What You’ll Do:

• As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
• Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
