Job summary

Advocate Health is hiring a Registered Nurse for the Neurosciences unit at Atrium Health Cabarrus. This 36-hour/week, night-shift role requires a nursing credential and BLS; includes rotating weekends/holidays and a sign-on bonus for eligible applicants.

You will provide and coordinate patient care using the nursing process, promote safety and quality, and participate in continuous improvement within a collaborative team. Comprehensive benefits are available.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing.
• Not for candidates with less than 6 months nursing experience or new graduate RN's.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices.

A sign-on bonus is available to applicants who have not received a sign-on bonus from the company for another role within the past 24 months.

Pay Range: $38.20 - $57.30

Join our 28-bed Neurosciences Unit at Atrium Health Cabarrus, proudly recognized by The Joint Commission as an Advanced Thrombectomy Capable Stroke Center and a Pathway to Excellence® designated hospital. Our team provides exceptional care to patients with stroke, seizure disorders, multiple sclerosis, Guillain-Barré syndrome, and other complex neurological conditions. The unit features six Epilepsy Monitoring Unit (EMU) rooms for continuous EEG monitoring and three Intermediate Care beds for patients requiring advanced observation and specialized nursing expertise. Expectations

We’re Looking For:

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing

• As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
• Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
