Position Summary:

The Registered Nurse works under the supervision of the Director and is responsible for providing nursing care for acutely ill patients. S/He performs assigned procedures that are within the scope of practice as set forth by the Iowa State Board of Nursing.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Demonstrate the ability to assess, plan, implement and evaluate age appropriate nursing care per ORCH policy/procedure and by meeting regulatory expectations from the Joint Commission and Center for Medicare/Medicaid.

EDUCATION

  • Graduate of an accredited program of Registered Nursing.

EXPERIENCE

  • Prefer prior experience in Medical/Surgical nursing, but not required.

CERTIFICATE/LICENSE

  • Current Iowa Registered Nurse License
  • Current BCLS verification
  • Medical-Surgical Certification preferred but not required
