Job summary

Trinity Health Muskegon is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for Med Surg Float in Michigan. The role offers a flexible mix of part-time and full-time opportunities with a combination of 8- and 12-hour shifts and a 72/48 hours per pay period (up to 60 hours).

You will join a team that provides holistic, patient-centered care, collaborates with families and an interdisciplinary team, and supports professional growth with day-one benefits and robust resources.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current Michigan RN license.
• 1 year experience in a Med Surg area preferred.
• BLS certification required.

Status: Full-Time and Part-Time

Shifts: Combination of 8‑hour and 12‑hour shifts

Hours: 72/48 hours per pay period (up to 60 hours available)

Shift Options Include

• Day: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
• Mid: 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
• Night: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• Late Night: 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM

Weekends

Weekend and no‑weekend options available

Holidays

Scheduled in accordance with the CBA

Continuing Employment Requirements

• Familiarity with hospital and department policies and procedures, including accepted methods for requisitioning ancillary services and working with medical staff. (Typically acquired during 1–3 months of orientation.)
• Maintain current nursing knowledge, BLS certification, and required CEUs for licensure.
• Demonstrate and articulate commitment to the philosophy, values, mission, and vision of Trinity Health Muskegon.
