Job summary

Dartmouth Health’s Cheshire Medical Center in Keene, NH is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the healthcare team. Under supervision, you will apply the nursing process across assessment, planning, delivery, and evaluation of patient care, documenting data and care processes.

The ideal candidate has NH RN licensure, BCLS certification, and strong assessment and communication skills. Part-time, 24 hours/week with opportunities for extended coverage and ongoing CEU/training programs.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in NH is required or eligible for licensure in NH.
• Current BCLS certification is required.
• Excellent assessment, communication, interpersonal, and organizational/time management skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and in crisis/emergency.
• Computer skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Apply the nursing process to assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
• Document relevant data and care processes.
• Collaborate with Nursing Team Leader, Clinical Leader, and Department Physicians.
• Participate in evening, weekend, and holiday coverage as needed.

Job description

Under general supervision of the Nursing Team Leader, Clinical Leader and/or the Department Director and under the general direction of the department physicians, perform as a member of the healthcare team to apply the nursing process when making nursing judgments and decisions specific to assessment, planning, implementation/delivery, and evaluation of patient care, and documenting relevant data and care processes.

Registered Nurse currently licensed in the State of New Hampshire with minimum of one year of nursing experience preferred. Current certification in BCLS required. Excellent assessment, communication, interpersonal, and organizational/ time management skills. Demonstrated ability to work well as a member of a team and respond calmly and effectively in a fast paced environment and during a crisis and/or emergency. Computer skills required. May be required to participate in evening, weekend and holiday coverage according to the needs of the department.
