Loyola Medicine's MacNeal Hospital is seeking a Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) for a 12 Hour Day Shift. You will care for adults with diverse medical conditions, implement care plans, administer treatments, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.

The unit is a 24-bed med-surg with a focus on holistic patient care. BSN or ADN and BLS are required, with opportunities for professional growth and advancement.

• Degree from an accredited school/college of nursing (BSN or ADN)
• BLS Provider (AHA) required prior to hire

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive, patient-centered care to adults with acute and chronic conditions on a 24-bed Medical-Surgical unit.
• Assess patient needs and develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments; monitor and document patient status.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to promote recovery and safe, high-quality care.

This role requires strong clinical judgment, effective communication, and a commitment to delivering safe, compassionate care in a fast-paced hospital environment.

This is a great opportunity for a Registered Nurse, RN professional to work in an organization that focuses on treating the whole person, physically, emotionally and spiritually. Loyola Medicine's 3 hospitals are located approximately 30 minutes from Downtown Chicago.

The unit is a 24 bed med surg unit specialty unit. Commonly seen patients include cardiac, urology, pulmonary, GI, renal, and infectious diseases and/or disorders.

Pay Range

BSN Pay Range: $36.05 - $59.92 per hour

ADN Pay Range: $32.90 - $57.06 per hour

Actual compensation will fall within the range but may vary based on factors such as experience, qualifications, education, location, licensure, certification requirements, and comparisons to colleagues in similar roles.
