Job summary

Community Health Network is seeking a Registered Nurse specialized in maternity to provide direct patient care for mothers and newborns in an LDRP environment, including NICU support. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe, high-quality care and efficient resource management.

The ideal candidate will hold a valid Indiana RN license, graduate from an accredited nursing program, and have at least 2 years of maternity RN experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of NLN/CCNE/ACEN/NLN CNEA accredited school of nursing or equivalent.
• RN licensed in Indiana per NLC.
• 2 years RN experience in Maternity required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to mothers and infants in an LDRP environment including NICU.
• Collaborate with care teams to ensure safe, cost-effective, high-quality care.

The Registered Nurse will be responsible for demonstrating performance consistent with professional standards of practice, care, performance, the Nurse Practice Act and the mission and goals of the Community Health Network. The Registered Nurse manages patient care in the healthcare continuum to achieve optimum outcomes in a safe and cost-effective manner. The Registered Nurse demonstrates skills in collaboration, delegation, negotiation and management of resources. The RN in Maternity will provide direct patient care to mothers and infants in an LDRP environment including NICU.

Exceptional Skills and Qualifications

• Graduate of National League for Nursing (NLN), Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), or National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA) accredited school of nursing, or three years of related professional nursing experience
• Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid license to practice in the state of Indiana as listed in the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC)
• 2 years' RN experience in Maternity required
