Provides clinical and administrative support through the management and direction of CNS, NP, and secretarial support staff specific to the psychiatric divisions.

Role Purpose

Responsible for operational and clinical management of designated patient care units on a 24-hour basis, overseeing a span of control and financial responsibility of > 72 FTEs supervised + > $2.5 million in expenses OR > 40 FTEs supervised + > $5 million in expenses.

Responsibilities

• Manage staff including hiring, training, assigning work, evaluating performance, and conducting professional development plans. Ensure team actions meet operational goals.
• Develop and adhere to staffing, revenue, and expense budgets; respond to business changes affecting goals.
• Ensure delivery of safe, evidence-based patient care.
• Ensure team compliance with policies, regulations, and standards; update policies as needed.
• Promote customer satisfaction, quality improvement, and positive outcomes.
• Research, evaluate, select, and implement efficiency systems.
• Support growth of existing or new programs.
